Big rain storm on 2nd day, sleep in lean-to expertly build by Raoul. 3rd watch, hear small voice crying for help. Straf goes off to investigate. Finds a small deer that snuggles up against Straf for warmth. It turns out to be a goo monster dealing necrotic damage Ral, who cuddled it. We kill it with fire.

We get to the hermitage. We find a lot of rotted corpses and a cell with a prisoner. After starting a fire and occasionally choking on smoke, we killed 4 zombies, and fought a half-man / half-beast into submission. He surrendered.
