Day 1
Sold Vigilant Great Ax and Tulthoe bought a Shield.
We left town and ventured into the woods. The march and first night was uneventful except for Westra and Preszana falling asleep on third watch.
Day 2
We headed to the “treehouse” and began investigating. Randal climbed the tree followed by Constanza. After not finding anything Constanza used a hatchet to cut into the tree. Paelias collected sap in a bottle and we continued on.
After walking for a while a vine attacked Paelias and wrapped him up. There were three other creatures in the tree. They were indentified as undead humanoid creatures. Tulthoe cut the vine while Westra killed the first humanoid who bit Paelias.
“How fast can a tree leave?”
Westra kills another humanoid using her bow. Preszana killed the last one with her flaming scimitar. Preszana is captured as the group tries to leave. Westra shoots through the vine and frees Preszana. We run away from the still alive tree. Another uneventful night passes.
Day 3
Arrive in Dulwitch and learn of the Jubilee and boar hunt from the soap maker. A little girl runs up to Constanza looking for her parents. Constanza puts the girl Kurto on her shoulders and begin looking for them in the market place. Kurto spots her parents and we head over and return her to them. They are grateful and offer to pay but we graciously refuse them. We find out that Schroot Bloop is a beet farmer and we are always welcome at his farm. We head to the dancing bear tavern to eat and drink. The owners sister recommends we take the sap to the sage Sancy. Randal meets some thieves who tell us about the owner of the keys. He is a snobby lumber yard worker. Paelias meets the previous winner of the boar hunt. Bra’el tells us about her previous hunt and recommends a place for us to look for a large boar.
Paelias asks how big her previous boar was. She tells us to use a pike to hunt the boar. Paelias shows her the sap and she recommends going to Sancy. We head to Sancys. The first floor is open to the public and the clerk greets us and tells us we will have to come back tomorrow for a meeting. We sleep at the dancing bear and return to Sancys in the morning. She thinks the bottle is blood from the heart of the forest. She keeps the bottle.
Day 4
We register for the hunt and head out. It is an uneventful trip out and we reach the location recommended before nightfall. We set up camp and have a peaceful night.
Day 5
The next morning we locate tracks and fresh poop. We follow it to an alcove with bushes. There are two small and one large boar there. Westra, Tulthoe, and Randal stealth up to the boar and stab the big boar. They all wake up and begin attacking back. We kill the large boar and one of the smaller ones. The last one was put to sleep by Paelias. We tie it up and when it wakes up it breaks free and is killed by Tulthoe. We march through the night carrying the boar back to town.
