Back in Westmarch. We sell off the Ziggurat statue to pay our taxes on our treasure. We examine the map and find that it leads to an abandoned evil temple, the Hall of Bones, in the hills to the east. After doing some shopping we head out to investigate the temple.

Travel

The first day we come across a run-down hut with vultures on top. We find the remains of a butchered moose. That evening on 4th watch, bugbears come to rob us. Straff Suggests that their leader retreats. They take off.

The second day is foggy. We stumble across a massive moose in the woods and strike it down. Before it dies Ral stabilizes it. Just then a giant elf Oarick from the clan of the wood giants, stumbles out of the woods. It had killed the moose’s child, then the moose killed some giant villagers. We agree to mark the moose so he will recognize it if it comes back. He offers help in the future. Call out to Oarick if we need help. We carefully mark this location on our map (coordinates 28, 14 on map). We camp that night near an abandoned well. Ral creates water into the well.

Third day is muggy and foggy. We get stuck at a river crossing, but see a tower on our side of the river. The river is narrow and fordable at this point (40 ft). After thinking about it, this tower is called Godswatch (map coordinates 30, 14). Devoted to nature and good-aligned gods. We decide to stop for the night. Straff scours the library for a good book and Ral sets up to do some worship on the top of the tower. Randall asks the priestess about the Hall of Bones. According to her it was thought to be lost. 100 years ago it was a secret lair of assassins and a shrine to a goddess of death. Brotherhood of Right eradicated them. An old, scarred man approaches us. He introduces himself as Werick, a former soldier of Westmarch. We follow him to the Hall of All Gods. In the center of the room is what looks like a teleportation portal. At the top of the tower, Ral talks to Mother Mercy, the retired head priestess. She has a tattoo on her arm of the Tower on the River.

Fourth Day – natural thunder storm. We set out into the forest. We reach the hills and come across the ruins of a former temple with mausoleums. We find a map of the original temple complex carved into the floor. The symbol of the deity is a dagger with blood dripping off of it. We also look at the one intact mausoleum. It has a shrieking ghost protective spell that does damage and stunning.
