On the first of Autumn, at the suggestion from guild leader Ashryn, Tulthoe, Preszana, Paelias, Randal, Westra and Kaybelle all left for the town Dulwitch, located about 3 days south of Westmarch. Before leaving, 50 gold was borrowed from the guild in order for Kaybelle to buy a healing potion. They followed the edge of the water south until the lake turned west, and continued South from there.
On their first night traveling, Westra and Tulthoe were on watch when Westra discovered a treehouse seemingly made from the tree itself nearby the campsite. She scaled the tree to find it riddled with what seem to have been goblin arrows; however, unable to find a way into the house, she and Tulthoe left it alone. It was briefly mentioned to the rest of the party a few days later, but it has yet to be explained to anyone but themselves.
On the second night, Randal and Preszana discovered a figure riding a horse well into the distance, beckoning to them. They awoke the party, and it was decided to break down camp and see if they could figure out what the figure wanted. As the party drew closer, it became evident that the figure and his horse were both some sort of undead, and were clad in armor and the colors of the dead city of Anatolia(now known as Eastmarch). This put the party on guard, but the figure continued to walk away, towards the lake, beckoning them, and they followed.

When the figure and his horse finally stopped, it simply pointed at the top of a small hill, refusing to, or unable to answer any of the party’s questions. Proceeding with caution, the group climbed the hill to discover a figure on the ground at the top, surrounded by three large wolves. Deciding to intervene, the group was able to dispatch the wolves and discovered the undead warrior they were following had disappeared, and his body was the figure on the ground. His armor, axe and gold were taken, and the body was buried.

The third day passed uneventfully, and the party made it to Dulwitch late that evening, where they stepped into a tavern looking for lodging for the evening. The tavern ended up being a bit snotty, but the group rested there anyway and asked around for information on the two leads located nearby: the Shund Valley and the Ironwolf Keep. Hearing little of known treasure in the Valley, the group decided to attempt to adventure to the keep the following day.
Paelias played a pan flute performance for the bar that evening while Randal picked the pocket of one of the snobs treating the party poorly, finding a ring of keys. Unsure of what to do with this find, Preszana transformed into a cat and attempted to follow this man. While following him she saw a man in chains being paraded through the streets surrounded by several guards, headed towards the keep in the center of town. After failing to see any wealth to be stolen using the man’s keys, Preszana returned and told the party about what she saw in the streets.
Kaybelle asked their bartender if she knew anything about the man going through the streets, and was told about a rumor that the mayor of Dulwitch, Wydo Gall, was at odds with the three guilds in the town as he was amassing money to hopefully take over his brother’s town.
The next morning, hoping to discover more of this plot, the party found an adventurer’s guild, The Dancing Bear, in town. Unfortunately they did not know much about the mayor or his plans there, but they did explain there was a rumor that hobgoblins that killed hundreds of goblins and buried all their treasure somewhere in the Shund Valley, indicating there may be value in going there.
Walking through the forest on their way to Ironwolf Keep, the party was ambushed by a small party of goblins. After disposing of two of them, they questioned the third, who told them Ironwolf Keep was occupied by hundreds of goblins and that they would never be able to get out alive. They killed this final goblin and continued until they found the keep. Randal was able to scout the back side of the keep, but found no other entrance than one main large hole in the outer wall leading into the courtyard.

Upon entering the courtyard, the party discovered there was a woman in the tower who shouted down to them. She claimed to have a party of her own in the tower, and had been there for a long time attempting to get past the goblins. She promised to watch the party’s back, ensuring they wouldn’t be attacked from above as they descended into the keep for 20% of the wealth found within. The party descended into the keep, speaking with some rats located within to get a better idea of the layout of the keep.
The party discovered the King’s Quarters, infested with giant spiders. They were dispatched, and they discovered the remains of and a ghost boy who wanted to be buried outside the keep with his family. The party was able to recover his and his mother’s remains, as well as most of his father. His father’s skull was missing. They were all brought outside the keep and a promise was made to the boy that they would find his skull and have them all buried by a nice tree outside.

Having cleared and checked all rooms on the first floor of the keep, the party descended further. They discovered more goblins, fighting over dinner, and were able to incite a riot among them before attacking, eliminating all 6 in the first room on the second floor. At this point, the adventurer’s, tired and in need of rest, returned to Westmarch using their stones.
