The party sets off for the Scarlet Citadel following the lead of Mogget who has been there previously. They arrive at the cavern entrance previously used by Mogget and find the ground covered in bones that have been gnawed on and black feathers. One of the party members is able to identify the feathers as belonging to Harpies. A Dwarven style archway surrounds the opening, and they can see the fortress in the near distance.

Combat

• Scorch drops down the hole followed by Jasper. There is a Harpy waiting in the tunnel who immediately attacks with a mind blast.
• Zofi and Yivena proceed cautiously down the rope.
• Meanwhile two large boulders are thrown towards Eden and Mogget from a top the fortress walls by two Harpies. Eden is hit by one and reduced to 1hp.
• Eden drops into the hole while Mogget fires her crossbow missing and follows.
• Meanwhile in the hole Jasper is clawed by the Harpy.
• Zofi launches magic missile and slaps Yivena out of the Harpy trance.
• Jasper swings with all his might and causes massive damage to the Harpy.
• Yivena fires her bow hitting and Scorch follows up with his axe killing the Harpy.

Loot

• There is no loot to capture from the Harpy.
